We are pleased to announce Marc Sellis started as the new HR & Business Support Manager.
Marc has lived in and around Lewes for the last 30 years, he’s married with two grown-up sons who have now flown the nest. Marc trained as an apprentice mechanical engineer at Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth working on Warships and Nuclear Submarines. In his mid-twenties, he worked at Crawley College as an Engineering instructor teaching apprentices before joining Thales as their Apprenticeship and Graduate Training Manager. He stayed with Thales for 10 years and ended up as the Head of Training Services for Thales UK. After Thales Marc moved sectors to public transport joining South West Trains running the Train Driver school in Basingstoke.
Marc has worked in public transport for the last 14 years, working for South West Trains, Trenitalia c2c Rail and finally as HR Director for RATP-Dev who run London buses. When he’s not working Marc is a very keen local Cricketer and avid gardener.
